After many years of decline, the European construction market as a whole is expected to grow 1% in 2016 to 855 Billion Euro’s (363,7 new build vs 491,5 renovation). However, some countries within Europe are still declining. In France and Italy a small decrease is expected for 2016 (-1%). In 2017, a neutral scenario (0%) is predicted. The highest growth of the construction market is expected in the Netherlands (5% in 2016 & 2017). For Poland, Belgium and the UK a modest growth is predicted (2% in 2016). The German market, after high growth in 2012, is experiencing a steady & stable growth of 1% per year. These results are based on the European Architectural Barometer, a multi client research covering 8 countries and based on 6,400 successful interviews with architects annually. Besides future & current building volumes, these reports cover all key trends in the construction industry, like BIM, Sustainability, branding, the shifting role of the architects and so on.
However, the construction market covers more than just the building volumes and architectural point of view. A very important segment is the HVAC market. This market is also cover by a multi client research, called the European Installation Monitor. A third important segment in the construction market is of course the DIY segment. This market is covered by yet another multi client research called the European Home Improvement Monitor.
All of these multi client reports are a product of USP Marketing Consultancy, your partner for dedicated/exclusive market research in the construction, DIY and installation markets.
