Purchase channels

In this report you will find the results of the first European Contractor Monitor of 2018, a study which focusses solely on the mid-sized (5 – 15 fte) and the large (16+ fte) building contractors in 8 important European countries.

It does not only contain data on how contractors organise their project, but also gives you a clear view on their current purchasing channels. The traditional wholesaler is getting not only competition from manufacturers who deliver directly to the contractors, they also have to compete with DIY shops and the pure online channel. 

The latter channel has become dominant in the B-to-C business and also some B-to-B sectors. But what is its role in the construction sector, a sector seen by many as very traditional? This report will give you the key insights in the current buying behaviour, as well as what can be expected for the (near) future, and what drives these changes?
