Why in-depth interviews?

The primary advantage of in-depth interviews is that much more comprehensive information can be obtained than through other data collection methods such as surveys.

The secondary advantage is that in-depth interviews allow interviewers to gain a deeper understanding of individual participants and gain more knowledge and insights than in a focus group. Thirdly, the faster process has become an advantage of in-depth interviews, as they enable a faster and easier recruiting and scheduling process.

Who conducts the in-depth interviews?

All interviews will be conducted by native speakers. USP has a strong network of fixed local consultants in Europe, with whom we have a long-term relationship. For in-depth interviews in Germany or the Netherlands, we use our own consultants.

Stepwise approach

4.Recruitment of respondents and payment of incentive (by USP)

5.Choose your options:

  • Send products, videos or brochures to respondents in advance in order to test concepts
  • Acquire photos or videos of products (usage)
  • Receive full transcripts or a comprehensive report on key insights.
